The MP TAAS (Tribal Automation and Academic Support) Scholarship Portal is a flagship digital initiative by the Government of Madhya Pradesh that provides post-matriculation financial assistance to students belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
Through this 100% online portal, eligible students can apply for scholarships, upload required documents, track their application status in real-time, and receive the scholarship amount directly in their bank account via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) — without visiting any government office.

How to Apply for MP TAAS Scholarship 2026
Complete guide for login, new registration, renewal, and status tracking — in simple English with Hindi notes.
Visit the Official TAAS Website
Open your browser and go to https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS. Always double-check the URL to avoid phishing/fake websites.
Click on “Student Login”
On the homepage, find and click the “MP TAAS Student Login” button — it is prominently displayed.
Enter Your User ID & Password
Enter your User ID (registered mobile number or application ID) and the password you created at the time of registration.
Complete Security Verification
The portal may require CAPTCHA or an OTP sent to your registered mobile number. Complete this step to verify your identity.
Access Your Student Dashboard
After successful login, you can apply for renewal, check status, edit profile, upload missing documents, and download receipts.
Open the Official Portal
Go to tribal.mp.gov.in and click on “New Beneficiary Profile Registration” / नया हितग्रही प्रोफ़ाइल पंजीकरण.
Enter Your Samagra ID
Enter your Samagra ID and click “Fetch Details”. Your name, parent’s name, date of birth, and caste details will auto-populate.
Aadhaar-Based e-KYC (Compulsory)
Your Aadhaar must be verified through OTP. This step is mandatory for all new applicants — registration cannot proceed without it.
Verify Auto-Filled Personal Details
Carefully check all fetched information. If anything is incorrect, do not proceed — first correct it through the Samagra portal or a local CSC center.
Enter Academic & Bank Details
Provide your college name, course (BA/BSc/BTech etc.), current academic year, bank account number, and IFSC code. The bank account must be in your own name and active.
Upload Required Documents
Upload clear, legible scans of: previous marksheet, fee receipt, bonafide certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, passport photo, bank passbook (first page).
Submit & Save Your Credentials
Review everything and click Submit. The system will generate a unique User ID and Password — write these down immediately and keep them safe.
Log In to the Portal
Use your existing User ID and password to sign in at tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS.
Open the PMS Dashboard
Inside your dashboard, navigate to the PMS (Post Matric Scholarship) section to continue with renewal.
Start the Renewal Application
Click “Apply Application” or “Renewal Application”. Then confirm your course, current academic year, and admission details.
Verify Pre-Filled Information
Your name, category, income, and previous academic details will be pre-filled. Verify them carefully. If all is correct, click “Apply Renewal”.
Update New Academic & Bank Details
Enter current roll number, course year, annual fee, and updated bank details (if changed). Then upload: latest marksheet, fee receipt, bonafide certificate, bank passbook.
Final Review & Submit
Review everything once more and click Submit. You will receive a Renewal Application ID — save it carefully for future reference.
Log in to your TAAS account, open the dashboard, and click “Track Status” or “Application Status” to view real-time updates.
